I see why you would be a little upset.. but really, A3 isn't that strong hand.. and you were DOMINATED after the flop.

If this is your worst bad beat, you are doing well.

You raised with not that great of a hand, got called by a terrible hand. they hit... You BET on a GUT SHOT... and they had the nutz.. you bet into them...

To be honest, more of poor playing on your behalf than a bad beat..

Good Luck in the future...

I would generally agree, but compared to what this guy called with A3 suited was a decent hand.

Yes, My hand wasn't that great but I raised to him and he called with that late into a tourny.

If your going to play that hand heads up out of position i would have wanted the guy to fold PF. When you bet the pot had 600 in it and u bet 300 more.....leaving him to call only 300 for a pot that now had 900 in it...3-1 if my math is right. When i want a guy to fold i usually bet a little more than the pot. Instead of 300 i would want to bet about 650-700. Or id just go ahead and shove em all in.......I wouldnt want to be shoving at that point (no antes yet), so if i wasnt fairly sure he would fold to a large bet i prolly would have just saw the flop then evaluated afterwards.
